Homeless single mom jailed for leaving her kids in car to go on job interview

What a heartbreaking mugshot. A homeless single mom, 35 year old Shanesha Taylor, who struggled to make ends meet is in jail after she left her two sons, a 2 year old and 6 month old in her car while she went on a job interview. reports...

The Scottsdale, Ariz. native was arrested after she left her young sons in a hot SUV that was locked with the windows cracked as she went for a job interview at an insurance company. A passerby heard Taylor’s youngest child crying and called police. When they arrived, Taylor returned to her car 45 minutes after police got to the scene, and when police arrested her, the two boys were reportedly “crying and sweating profusely.” Taylor told police that she was homeless and needed the work, and because she couldn’t find someone to watch her kids, she had to take them with her. This event occurred on March 20. Continue...

The response to her story has been split, with some people saying that while she did make a mistake, she was simply trying to find work to feed her kids. Others say, she left two kids in a hot car, it’s wrong, dangerous, and she should have known better. Well, those in support of Taylor have actually set up a fundraising campaign on to help raise money for Taylor and her kids, who are in the custody of Child Protective Services at this time as she awaits charges. The goal was only $9,000, which according to the person who set up the fundraising campaign, Amanda Bishop, would be put into an account for her family. However, the fundraiser has brought in a whopping $63,000.

Taylor is still in jail while her children remain in protective custody.

Was she wrong to leave her kids in the car to go look for a job? What's your thoughts on this?

SHOCKING: “Micheal Jackson Was A Drug Addict…" Dr Conrad Murray Spills Secrets

In a very revealing and his first interview since his release from prison for the involuntary manslaughter of Micheal Jackson, Dr Conrad Murray in a revealing interview with The Mail says Micheal didn’t father any of his kids, was a drug addict and had to wear a condom because urine kept dripping from his penis…

“You want to know how close Michael and I were? I held his penis every night. I had to put a condom catheter on him because Michael dripped urine. He had a loss of sensation and was incontinent. Michael didn’t know how to put a condom on, so I had to do it for him. It was the most intimate thing but he trusted me. I didn’t kill Michael Jackson. He was a drug addict,“Michael Jackson accidentally killed Michael Jackson. I believe he woke up, got hold of his own stash of Propofol and injected himself. He did it too quickly and went into cardiac arrest….. He was in crisis at the end of his life, filled with panic and misery … By the end, Michael Jackson was a broken man. I tried to protect him but instead I was brought down with him. Jackson had been dragged “into the abyss” of physical and mental anguish by the pressures of his London tour.

He was so unhinged in his final days that he didn’t allow his underwear to be cleaned because he feared the maids would sell it.“He also had a hip condition where the hip bone comes out of the socket. Michael wanted to know if I could arrange a hip replacement. None of them are Michael’s biological children. He chose friends or business colleagues to help him. Michael was a decrepit man, He wanted to “be cremated and scattered somewhere nice and warm” yet his family ended up burying him in a Los Angeles cemetery.

Two-Thirds Of Cheaters Would Have An Affair With A Boss If This Was At Stake

If you're cheating on your significant other, you might be willing to blur other moral lines as well -- like sleeping with your boss to get ahead at work.

When Victoria Milan -- a dating site for attached people looking to cheat -- surveyed 3,000 male and female members, 67 percent said they would have an affair with a superior "for a salary raise or promotion".

What's more, 42 percent of participants said they have already had an affair with a co-worker or a boss and 81 percent said they have at least "fooled around" with one.

"Sharing most of our hours working with colleagues leads us to establish further relationships that can deepen into more serious feelings or even unresolved sexual tensions," said CEO of Victoria Milan Sigurd Vedal.

"Many cheaters apparently decide to make a move and resolve that tension — not to mention improving their situation by getting a raise or a promotion!”

But despite the numbers, almost all the members surveyed understood it was risky business; 82 percent said that having an affair with someone at work can cause more damage than having an affair with someone else.

I guess this is romantic and many ladies will love it. But the guy get liver sha, to do this kind thing on air where a lot of people are busy praying that their plane should not get missing or anything like that.

The young man was given a different seat from his fiancée on the trip but that still did not stop him as he left his seat and walk down to hers, brought out a ring and, as usual, the girl said YES! See more pix below...

I Can't Date Any Man Who Is Not Good In Bed ––Actress Okoye

If you're looking for bold girls who can say their mind when it comes to bedroom issue, just go to Nollywood in a subtle way and talk to the young babes who are trying to make it in the movie industry. One of them is this cute actress, Crystal Okoye. She said any man who can't perform should not come her way.

Below is what she told a reporter about her desire:

"I am not one of those women who would tell you séx doesn’t matter; it matters a lot in a marriage. If a man cannot perform I have no business with him. You have to be a complete man to be with me. I don’t pray to marry a poor man...But a man who can comfortably take care of me. I love séx, and I am not going to pretend I don’t. I know most girls even fake or'gasm just to please their partners but I am not that kind of girl."

Onyeka Nwelue: An Open Letter To His Excellency Atiku Abubakar [The Trent Voices]

Onyeka Nwelue: An Open Letter To His Excellency Atiku Abubakar [The Trent Voices]

My dearest Atiku,

You still address yourself as His Excellency, which is palpably laughable. I will keep that aside and focus on what I’ve been meaning to tell you for a while. I don’t know you personally, so I don’t hate you. I remember you were Vice President when I was still a child. Since then, you have tried to become President. Yours dreams haven’t come true and I am very, very certain they will never come true. If you become President, I will go into exile; I will travel far away to Panama and live there until you finish deceiving Nigerians.

You are no visionary person, sir. That doesn’t hurt, does it? A man like you always talking about creating jobs and you use the word ‘young’ for Nigerian youths all the time to blackmail them. You are always asking young people to throw questions at you on Twitter to discuss job creation and many of them are very polite and respectful. They don’t get angry with you; they don’t think about the many years you spent as Vice President and now want to be the President of a country that has no structure; a country where its graduates come out and look like nincompoops because practically, they are incompetent. You have ABTI-American University, sir. That university, which charges tuition fees that are way bigger than what are obtainable in universities abroad where teaching methodology has completely been modernised.

I am not saying you are a bad person. I don’t like you as a liar. Politicians, generally, are liars. I have a list of them; the ones who lie way better than me. It confuses me how we can’t just think straight and actually list out the names of the people who have collectively destroyed this nation and yet, make us believe that they are the only things that we need. How can? How can we need someone like you when you only start talking because you need votes? How can we need someone like you who is always talking about how many jobs you have created? You are a very narcissistic politician! (What politician isn’t narcissistic?!) You listen to yourself lie and you believe your own lies.

I was not paid to write this, but what ignited this fire in me was your Tweet: “Young people of Nigeria, if you want to make a difference in your country, you must commit to vote!”

Oh my days! You sound like you just came back from another planet and that we’ve not been voting? We voted you in and you spent 8 years, doing nothing. Imagine being voted in to become the Vice President of the Giant of Africa, where there are no trains? No metro system? No good public transportation system? No proper internet? No access to quality education, because people like you, in a bid to clamour for political support, will go to deliver some speech at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, where students can’t find seats to sit down during lectures and where lecturers sweat while they are teaching a jampacked class.

For me, I don’t seek for anything from you. I have dined with people like you and I made a mistake by not using long spoons. All the young people who use generator sets and can’t even iron their clothes showing support for you are shameless nitwits and should query this man who keeps chasing his shadows. For the most part, we cannot sell our souls to people like you, sir. How passionate are you really to lead a country you couldn’t lead as Vice President? Trust me, you were not powerless as Vice President! Olusegun Obasanjo did not castrate you. You were just not willing to bring any change; you were intent on acquiring massive personal wealth, which I encourage every well-meaning Nigerian to acquire. Get rich and lie to poor people and deceive them. If people like you are not made away with in Nigeria by young people in Nigeria, we will live in this kind of society for the rest of our lives.

I beg of you to stop ranting on Twitter and Facebook like, retire from politics, get a life, go spend it with your money, enjoy all the wealth you’ve amassed, which I’m jealous of, but which you’d say you worked hard to get. But this is what Don Marquis said: “When a man tells you that he got rich through hard work, ask him: ‘Whose?’”

Thank you so much for finding time to read this, if you actually did. And I don’t look forward to hearing from you.

Photos: Miley Cyrus Spits on her Fans during Concert

Miley is all about shocking her fans these days, and this time, she unleashed more than just her infamous tongue during her Bangerz tour in Tampa last week. On multiple occasions throughout the tour, the twerking 21-year-old sensation showered her audience with gulps of water and they appeared to enjoy it. Miley drank from a water bottle and then spat out an impressive yet vile stream onto her adoring fans. Miley - who can seemingly do no wrong -- repeated the stunt several times as the crowd cheered her on and appeared to enjoy the disgusting display.

During the vulgar act, the We Can't Stop singer was decked out in a plunging red and silver high cut glittery one piece body suit which revealed her long legs.

Caught Live: Nigerian Embassy Staff who Uses Diplomatic Bags To Smuggle Gold, Money

If you want to really know how those in government have been stealing our money and moving them out of the country without any challenge, then you must read the confession of this Nigerian Embassy staff:
"The easiest way is that, let's say this box is loaded with $1 million and they are going out with it or gold, or diamond. With my link, we use a diplomatic vehicle from here straight to Heathrow or Gatwick."
An international undercover investigation filmed by "ITV's Exposure" has exposed one of the many fraudulent staff at the Nigeria High Commission in UK who claimed he could transport items, including stolen art, out of "any airport" using his diplomatic connections and protection. Nigerians, now you know what is happening!

Posing as a criminal gang, ITV Exposure team, led by reporter Mark Williams-Thomas, met Mr Alfa Abutu in a London hotel. Abutu, a Nigeria Embassy senior staff told them he could transport their stolen art to Paris.

Mr Alfa Abutu, who didn't know he was being recorded secretly, told the men:
"Give me your suitcase, this suitcase usually has to be wrapped with the national flag before we can move it anywhere. And we use diplomatic vehicle whereby the police authorities will not stop us."

Exposure told Abutu the art was worth nearly £1million, to which he suggested a commission of £250,000. In a series of meetings with undercover reporters, Abutu also claimed he could help transfer money, and smuggle diamonds and gold out of the country using an embassy car and its associated privileges.

"The easiest way is that, let's say this box is loaded with $1 million and they are going out with it or gold, or diamond. With my link, we use a diplomatic vehicle from here straight to Heathrow or Gatwick," he said."They will not open the box they are bringing out. It's not a problem."

After Mr.Abutu later found out it was a fake deal, and was asked to comment on Exposure's findings, Abutu denied any wrongdoing and said he had never been involved in criminal activities. He said he is local staff, not a diplomat, doesn't have diplomatic immunity and couldn't have assisted the Exposure team to move an item.

He turned around to claim that he just played along as he believed the Exposure's team was not genuine.

But following the revelations, the Nigeria High Commission immediately suspended Abutu from his position in the accounts department, where he had worked for 6years, saying it "utterly condemns Mr Abutu's conduct".

Spokesman Ahmed Inusa said:
We supports the press and the media in their good work to expose embassy workers…who either pose as diplomats with a view to committing criminal acts for financial gains or diplomats who abuse their diplomatic privileges for any reason. The Mission thanks ITV staff in particular, for the good work they have done.

Once again, Nigerians, now you all know that we have thieves in positions of authority in Nigeria. Really Sad!

Indian Mob Attacks, Beats up Nigerian Tourist after he Missed his Way in India

A Nigerian tourist who lost his way in India was chased and thrashed by a mob that suspected him of being a terrorist or a member of an Indian guerrilla group, known as the Naxalites. According to The Times of India, the Nigerian identified as Clinton Osemwegi Igbinosun was attacked during late night hours of Wednesday. He sustained serious injuries, lost all his cloths and fell into an open sewer puddle as he fled for his life through the lanes of the village of Allapalli, located in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, India

Exhausted and beaten, Clinton laid naked in a narrow lane when he was rescued by the local police after
midnight. Police verified his claims and are going to hand him over to Foreign Registration Office (FRO) on Friday.

SDPO, Aheri, Suhas Bauche said that Clinton is a Nigerian visiting India on a tourist visa. He was heading to Bangalore from Delhi by a train. However, he got irritated by the poor services and amenities in the train and disembarked at Nagpur on Wednesday morning.

Clinton then decided to travel by bus and asked people for a bus heading to Bangalore (Vengaluru). People however failed to understand his African accent and showed him a bus for Ballarshah (Ballarpur). He boarded and disembarked by afternoon. Clinton got frustrated on learning that he reached a wrong destination and decided to head back to Allahabad from where he had initially started his journey. Again he asked for a bus for Allahabad at Ballarpur bus-stop and because of his Nigerian accent, people showed him the bus for Allapalli.

He reached Allapalli at around 10pm and instantly understood that he had again reached a wrong place. People turned suspicious towards the more than six-and-half feet tall Nigerian as he started looking for a hotel and sought direction for airport late in the night in the Naxal-affected area. SPDO Bauche said:

“His English in African accent is very difficult to understand. Cops too had a difficult time in understanding what he said. His tall demeanour and African looks turned people suspicious towards him. He claimed that people sought explanations in local language and broken English, which he didn’t understand either.
As the crowd grew bigger, Clinton got afraid and started fleeing. People got more suspicious and started chasing him. Though Bauche did not confirm of Clinton being thrashed, local sources claimed that he was chased and beaten by the people.

How Clinton lost his cloths is however a puzzle. Cops suspect that he might have himself taken off his cloths after he fell into the sewer.

After running for hours to save his life, Clinton managed to dodge the crowd and took refuge in a narrow lane between two houses. Vilas Bandawar who woke up hearing mayhem, saw an exhausted and injured Clinton laying naked. He helped him wash by pouring water and gave a lungi.

Meanwhile, cops had reached the place on getting information and took him to hospital.
“We have confirmed his whereabouts and cross-checked his claims. Clinton turned out to be an innocent foreigner who lost his way. We are going to hand him over to FRO officials,” said Bauche.

Reasons why our sisters are not getting married by De Sammy
South African president Jacob Zuma, 68, celebrates his fifth marriage (37-year-old becomes third current wife)

What could be the reason why our sisters are not
getting married? Let us look at my few reasons: bitter truth shaaa

1. Lack of Respect: It is obvious that our sisters are
too full of themselves. Throughout my years in the
university, I hardly see any young girl that greets her
male colleagues even those in higher levels. We know
that this is Africa where men value respect. Our
sisters have this mindset that men have to worship
them because they have womanliness which every
man is clamoring for but they are wrong. Men
equally have joystick that they need. Why are our
women suffering from moral decay? I know a young
girl that got married simply because she shows too
much respect to everybody she sees and one day she
did so to a multimillionaire who eventually married
her. The girl in question is ugly but many beautiful
girls need a miracle to be like her.

2. Ego and Pride: The more education our girls get,
the more they feel too pompous. Men are looking for
a wife who will be submissive enough to reason with
him so that they can join hands and build a family.

3. Parasitism: I am truly sorry if I refer to some of
sisters as parasites. However, the truth is bitter but it
must be told. I feel bad when girls list ridiculous
criteria of the type of man they want to marry. The
fact is that, they don't have what it takes to attract
such men. A girl who can't construct a correct
sentence in English wants to marry a first class
graduate who works in shell or Total. Why? So that
the dude can pay all her bills and equally cater for the
needs of her siblings. Also, my guy will make up for
her mental weakness. Funny enough, a first class or
2.1 graduate is wise enough to determine what is
good for him.

4. Fake lifestyle: Pinging with the latest blackberry
and telling a lot of lies on how rich your parents are
will never make him love you. Be sincere for once.
Your lies can only attract play boys and gold diggers.

5. Tribalism: Don't be surprised my people. I talk out
of experience. Many girls and even men will NEVER
marry you if you are not from their tribe.

6. Selfishness: This a- me-alone attitude is common
among some girls. Your need N50,000 for shopping
from your man who can't boast of a single nice shirt
in his wardrobe. To you, all that matters is collecting
the money and buying all sorts of expensive dresses
whereas your fiancé looks like an errand boy.

7. Hyper-selective: Believe you me, the kind of man
some women want to marry do not exist on this
planet earth. The only perfect person worthy of their
ridiculous criteria is Jesus Christ of Nazareth and if
God were to become man, they will never marry.

God bless ƔϑU

Nigeria arrests 12 including two Britons for oil theft

YENAGOA, Nigeria (Reuters) – Nigeria has arrested two Britons and 10 of its own citizens on charges of trying to bribe a military officer to facilitate oil theft, the military said on Friday.

Oil theft by armed gangs is rampant in Africa’s top crude-producing country, with estimates ranging from 100,000 barrels to 250,000 barrels a day lost to so-called “bunkerers”.

Major-General E.J. Atewe, commander of the mixed military and police Joint Task Force (JTF) for the oil-producing Niger Delta region, said two of the bunkerers, both Nigerian, had gone to an officer to request clearance to move the crude oil.

They had openly admitted their plan was to hack into a pipeline and connect a hose that would siphon crude out of it onto a waiting boat, and offered him $6,500 to provide a gunboat to protect them on the way out.

“The suspects were immediately arrested for attempting to bribe the brigade commander for economic sabotage,” Atewe said in a statement, and a follow-up operation had led to the arrest of two Britons and another eight Nigerians.

Stories of collusion with the security forces are common and the sheer scale of oil theft in Nigeria would not be possible without systematic collusion by various security agencies, security sources say.

Loss of output from theft and outages caused by sabotaging pipelines has cost the treasury – which relies on oil for about 80 percent of revenues – billions of dollars. Critics, however, say theft is exaggerated to cover up embezzlement of oil revenues by officials in the state oil firm, a charge they deny.

Oil theft has contributed to the high likelihood Nigeria will lose its top African crude oil exporter spot in May, as exports could fall to their lowest since records began in 2009.

Production of the Forcados grade has been hit by underwater pipeline leakage, which Shell blamed on oil theft, and which led the operator to declare force majeure on the grade this week.

Despite widespread evidence of collusion between Nigerian security forces, the government has been keen to portray oil theft as the work of foreign criminal gangs. Analysts say the main buyers are gangs in the Balkans and refiners in Singapore.

American Couple Found Guilty of Harvesting Organs from Ghanaian Daughter

Matthew and Grace Huang (pictured), an Asian-American couple, were sentenced Thursday to three years in prison in a Qatar court for starving their adopted daughter to death.

The Huangs, parents to three adopted children, were accused by prosecutors of killing their daughter in order to harvest her organs.

As reported by BBC News, the charges that landed the Huangs in jail were not announced, but outside the court, Mr. Huang presented greater detail.

“We have just been wrongfully convicted, and we feel as if we are being kidnapped by the Qatar judicial system,” said Mr. Huang. “This verdict is wrong and appears to be nothing more than an effort to save face.”

Mr. Huang added, “They accused us of killing our daughter to harvest her organs. That’s how ridiculous this is. This verdict should be overturned immediately.”

Along with the prison sentence, the couple has to pay 15,000 Qatari riyals, or $4,100, in fines. After serving their sentences in Qatar, the couple will be deported. The defense team has been granted 15 days to appeal the sentence and have plans to put that in to motion.

Mr. and Mrs. Huang were arrested in Qatar’s capital city, Doha, back in January 2013, after the death of 9-year-old Gloria (pictured above with her two brothers). The Huang family adopted Gloria from Ghana and have two other adopted children (pictured) also from Africa.

The Huang family arrived in Qatar, after the husband reportedly moved the family to the country for work. Their other children are residing with family back in America.

Via their website, the Huang family claims that Gloria’s death happened as a result of an eating disorder she developed while living in Ghana, but Qatar police officials determined that the Huang family was harvesting the girl’s organs although a second postmortem investigation reportedly revealed that no evidence of organ tampering was found.

Shockingly, this is not the only case dealing with organ harvesting. In 2011, Catholic Online reported on African refugees, attempting to relocate to Israel, having their kidneys and livers removed while they were alive and then being left to die. Then a Somali girl was reportedly smuggled out of her country to Britain for her organs, according to the New York Post, last October. Her case was of particular significance because it was the first time that authorities saw a child being trafficked specifically for her organs.

Another high-profile organ-harvesting, kidnapping case involved the “humanitarian organization” Zoe’s Ark. Back in 2007, Chad’s President Idriss Deby accused the organization of trying to kidnap 103 children and take them to France for illegal adoptions and organ-harvesting. At the time, President Deby told NPR, “Clearly, their goal was to kidnap and steal these kids from their parents, and sell them to pedophile organizations in Europe, or kill them and sell their organs.”

Why Pastors Are Richer Than Their Members In Nigeria – Oritsejafor

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor recently bared his mind concerning the controversies surrounding churches and their flamboyant pastors.

When asked to explain why churches milk the poor, the CAN president and Senior pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, said “it is cheap to criticise; even to criticise what you don’t understand. Let me put it this way, in every good people, you would always find some bad people. The church is the greatest institution that has made the country today. If you look back, you would find out that the church brought education to Nigeria.”

Speaking further to Punch, he said “The church brought hospital to Nigeria. I think the church should be given credit for that. People don’t understand what they say about the church milking the poor. Can a poor man have money to pay tithe? A man who has no job, can he pay tithe? No, he won’t be able to pay. So how do you milk a man who has no milk? In a church, you have both the poor and the rich. It is generally not the poor that finance the church. It is those with the means. A man, for example, who earns N10,000, how much is his tithe? His tithe is N1,000. A man who earns N500,000, how much is his tithe? His tithe is 10 per cent which is N50,000. How much would you milk from a man who pays a tithe of N1000?

“We won’t say things like this usually because the church is a level-playing ground. Whether you are poor or you are rich, God sees everybody as equal. It is because of a question like this that sometimes, we have to take time to analyse things. I even hear people say that the poor give money to start schools, but their children cannot go to the schools. How will they give this money when they are poor? The truth is that, the people who actually give this money are those who have the means to do so. Those people make it possible for churches to start schools. Now again, why do churches charge high fees in school? You didn’t ask me that, but I’m just throwing that in free. People must understand that there is a standard.

“The church wants to maintain the standard. In those days, some people will say that when missionaries started school, it was free. Don’t forget that those missionaries were being financed from different places. Who is financing us today? We are financing ourselves. If I got free financing, why won’t we make education free? You must also understand that at the time, the cost of living was not the way it is today. The educational system of Nigeria is in serious trouble, so we need to up the standards. And to do that, you should be able to hire the best hands. If you hire the best, how do you pay them? Where do you get the money to pay them? How do you put the right infrastructure in place? How do you do many of the things that need to be done? How do you run the generators?”

On why there are so many poor people in churches yet rich pastors, Oritsejafor who recently completed an ultra modern 40,000 capacity church auditorium in Warri, Delta State, explained, “Remember that the pastors are pasturing both the poor and the rich. They are all in the same assembly. Both the poor and the rich, those who have the means in the church take time to be kind to their pastors. That is something most people don’t realise. They give their pastors money, food and different things. For example, a member of the church goes to his pastor and says, ‘I feel led to give you a car. Take this car.’ Now the pastor has a car. Did he steal it? As I sit here talking to you now, I can tell you that I am training almost 100 people in institutions of higher learning. Nobody is going to broadcast that. On every 26th of December, I organise what I call poverty alleviation. I have been doing it now for about eight years.”

Defending his aircraft and rift with Mallam Nasir el-Rufai “I am glad that there are people who challenged him. I would only be dignifying him if a person at my level starts exchanging words with a small person like el-Rufai. He is too small. I will not dignify him with a response. People responded. They told him that since he knew who gave the gift, he should provide the proof, which he hasn’t done till today. Obviously, he didn’t have any proof. That is the problem with Nigeria. We continue to celebrate people like el-Rufai. He is too small for me. I won’t waste my time on him”

Fake Pastor Caught With Human Skull During Prayer

The Oyo State capital, Ibadan, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in the last one week and the gory stories continue to unravel. First it was the discovery of a horror forest where human bodies and skeletons were discovered in a community. Few days after that discovery, a man who disguised himself as a mad man was arrested with human tongues and other body part.

The latest that is coming from the ancient city is that a man who disguised as a Pastor has been nabbed after he was discovered to be in possession of a human skull. The preacher, dressed in white garment and going about preaching at the top of his voice and receiving money from people, was arrested at Agbowo Junction.

A man approached the fake Pastor to pray for him but during the prayer the man observed something inside his bag. After the prayer, the man made as if he wanted to give the Pastor some money but he immediately grab his bag and while dragging the bag, to the surprise of everyone, a human skull drop...

A mob, having been attracted by the shocking discovery, descended on the fake Pastor and beat him to a pulp as others who had begged the Pastor to pray for them watch with shock.

But for the intervention of policemen attached to the Kajorepo Police Division, the fake preacher would have been beaten to death and even set ablaze. He is now in police cell, answering questions about his activities.

Pull up your pants or pay a fine! Louisiana parish introduces $50 saggy pants fine for first-time offenders and $100 for repeat offenders

The Louisiana parish of Jefferson Davis is the latest place in the country to introduce a ban on people wearing their pants too low.

Local police jurors unanimously passed an ordinance on Wednesday making it illegal for any person to appear in a public place wearing pants below the waist and exposing their skin or undergarments.

Police Juror Steve Eastman said saggy pants have been a long-running problem in the parish.

‘I had complaints from security guards around the courthouse that there was issues with people not being respectfully dressed in the courtroom area,’ he told KPLC.

‘So initially I was going to be for on the courthouse grounds, and the other jurors felt that it was important parish-wide.’

It was Juror Bryon Buller who took the suggestion a step further and asked the panel to consider making it illegal for anyone to show their undergarments in public to limit indecent and lewd behavior.

Those violating the law face a $50 fine for the first offense and a $100 fine for each subsequent violation, reports the American Press.

Police Juror Steve Eastman said saggy pants have been a long-running problem in the parish

The trend originated in prisons, where inmates were not allowed to have belts, and hip hop artists began copying the look in the 1990s.

Barack Obama spoke out against the look in 2008, saying: ‘Brothers should pull up their pants.

‘You are walking by your mother, your grandmother, your underwear is showing. What’s wrong with that? Come on. Some people might not want to see your underwear. I’m one of them.’

Similar laws have been enacted in communities around the country, including Wildwood, New Jersey, and Cocoa, Florida.

Civil Liberties groups have in the past argued that such bans are ‘unconstitutional’ under the 14th Amendment, which says no citizen should be deprived of ‘life, liberty or property’ and no person should be denied equal protection of the law.

A number of other Louisiana municipalities, including Merryville, Kinder, Elton, Welsh and Opelousas, have already passed similar measures.

Nick Cannon lists famous women he's slept with, mentions Christina Milian, Nicole Scherzinger, Kim K

How tacky! Who goes on a radio show to mention names of famous women he has slept with? Nick Cannon, that's who! But this Kim has been around

So actor/rapper/TV personality/producer Nick Cannon was a guest on Big Boy's Power 106 TV show and when the radio host asked him to list five celebrities he's gone to bed with, Nick didn't hesitate. He started off with his wife, super star singer Mariah Carey, then mentions singers Christina Milian and Nicole Scherzinger, ex-fiancee supermodel Selita Ebanks and reality star Kim Kardashian.

When Big Boy acted surprised and said he didn't know Nick had slept with Kim, Nick replied, "Of course you knew...or you forgot because there have been many since me." Ouch! Not nice, Nick!

Oh and he said he only mentioned the names of famous women people already know he slept with, ..meaning there are many more. He also said the first time he made love to Mariah Carey was on their wedding night. See the video below...

New York-Based Deeper Life Bible Church Pastor And Nigerian Mission Lawyer Nabbed By FBI In Multimillion-dollar Con of Elderly Woman

Eric Abakporo and Ambassador Joy Ogwu
New York-Based Deeper Life Bible Church Pastor And Nigerian Mission Lawyer Nabbed By FBI In Multimillion-dollar Con of Elderly Woman

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed reports linking New York-based pastor and lawyer, Eric Abakporo, to “despicable” fraud: the theft of the life savings of an elderly African-American woman through deceit and lies.

Eric Abakporo, a Deeper Life pastor and attorney, and a cohort, Latanya Pierce, were arrested for swindling the 78 year-old woman and stiffing a bank with a phony $1.8 million mortgage loan. Abakporo was arrested on Monday in Queens, NY, while Pierce surrendered voluntarily.

“Through lies and deception, these individuals abused the trust of an elderly woman in order to perpetrate a multimillion dollar fraud. Now that their despicable scheme has been exposed, they will face justice,” said New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Abakporo first came across the SaharaReporters radar screen in 2010 in another case involving contracts for renovations at the Nigerian Mission in New York City. The contracts, linked to Joy Ogwu, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, were inflated, according to a petition signed by whistleblowers calling themselves “The Patriots.” SaharaReporters reported on this a few months after New York Daily News was reporting on the fraud perpetrated against the elderly woman.

The SaharaReporters story prompted the ethically challenged lawyer to turn his fury on the citizen reporting website with a lawsuit raising libel, emotional distress and other charges for which he demanded $30 million. A U.S. District Court dismissed most of Mr. Abakporo’s claims in an April 2011 decision.

The story behind the current FBI charges began in March 2006 when Abakporo cultivated a relationship with the victim who owned a Harlem apartment building. He offered to help her collect rents but actually, he pocketed them.

The two alleged con artists then persuaded the woman to sell her property for $3.1 million, giving her multiple fake and fraudulent checks which they later took back, promising to give her a “private mortgage” in the property. After weaving a web of lies around their actions, the two swindlers brought their act to a local bank, claiming they owned the building “free and clear”. For this lie, they obtained a $1.8 million mortgage which they failed to repay.

Ultimately they obtained all of the elderly woman’s assets and $1.8 million by defrauding the bank.

Charges against the two include multiple bank and wire fraud which together carry a maximum prison term of 100 years behind bars.

Abakporo is currently cooling his heels in detention until payment of a $1 million bond secured by an interest in property and co-signed by three people and secured by two properties.

OAU student builds solar powered car

Like I have always said, Nigerian students are no dull brains, they are only handicapped by the non-working atmosphere and condition created for them. Here is a solar-powered vehicle built by Oyeyiola Segun, a Part 5 student of the Electronic and Electrical Department of Obafemi Awolowo University.

In an exclusive interview by OAU Peeps Forum, he explained how the car came into existence and the motivations behind it.

OAU Peeps: Can we meet you sir?
Segun: Okay, I am Oyeyiola Segun, a part 5 student of Elect-Elect., OAU

OAU Peeps: We learnt you built this lovely car. Was it a joint project or you did it yourself?
Segun: I did it only. This is not a day’s job, I have been working on it for some months now.

OAU Peeps: So how does the car work?
Segun: Basically it depends on Wind and Solar energy. All the energy derived for these two sources were converted to run the simple car. There are different means of obtaining energy from these two sources but I picked the one that is cool for my car.

OAU Peeps: From what you just said, you can either use the Wind or Solar Energy to power the car’s engine?
Segun: Not either energy, rather both energies are used to power the car.

OAU Peeps: Cool… that differentiates your production from the usual vehicles we see around us I suppose?
Segun: Yes, you are very correct.

OAU Peeps: Could you share with us what actually provoked your innovation? I mean what you thought before coming up with this lovely engine?
Segun: Basically, it is because of the climate change we experience due to the combustion of fuel and you know cars also contribute to that change. So I thought of running a car that will not use fuel for its locomotion. After series of thinking and research work, I came up with the simple method that gave birth to this. So that is the basic reason for the car. Another concern of mine is to produce a car that will function effectively at a reduced cost of maintenance. I believe you know the price of fuel in this country is almost going beyond the reach of a common man?
OAU Peeps: Yes, you are right. Is there any other peculiarity of the car that you will like to share apart from the once you have mentioned?
Segun: Of course yes. Another thing that distinguishes my car from the common ones you see around is that you can know the state of the car through your mobile phones. I wrote a software that you can install which will give you the basic information about the car while in your room.

OAU Peeps: What do you mean by the State of the car?
Segun: I mean the functionality of the car, like the battery level, the weather conditions, the distance you can cover during different weather conditions. In case you have a bad weather. The car also has a GPS in it that helps to know the location of the car. These and many other features embedded in it.

OAU Peeps: Wow! this is very lovely. Do you have plans replicating this nice work in the future?
Segun: The work has come to stay, but I need to keep improving it for now.

OAU Peeps: It took you how many years to put this together?
Segun: That your question can be phased into two categories, do you mean mentally or physically?

OAU Peeps: Lol… you are right. Let us talk about the Physical aspect of it now.
Segun: Okay. We all know how our country is, I mean to get money is not easy but I pray that God will make it easy for everyone of us. The truth is, I cannot really say how long because I started using my personal little money to get the materials together. Let me just say about twelve(12) months.

OAU Peeps: Did you encounter any major challenge during this project?
Segun: Yes, Money. Even at the moment, I still need funds to get some others materials which are in my original paper design which I have not implemented on the car.

OAU Peeps: What will be the summarized cost of this car when fully ready?
Segun: There are lots of things that will lead to summary cost of production, so for now I cannot specifically state the cost but with all the materials that I will be needing since I am not producing in large quantities, its close to a million naira. Now quantifying my effect and others on foreseen cases.

OAU Peeps: Finally, your message to fellow Nigerian students?
Segun: My message to my fellow students is that Rome was not built in a day. It is better to start anything you want to do now and don’t never, I repeat, never expect someone to believe in your dreams because they may not understand it as you do. Endeavor to follow your heart and do what will make you happy and that which will not affect your fellow being negatively. May God help and bless us all.

OAU Peeps: Amen. Thank you so much Engineer, we are indeed proud of you.
Segun: You are welcome and May God help OAU Peeps Forum too.

Court bans tolls collection on Lekki-Ikoyi bridge

A Federal High Court, Lagos has barred the Lagos State Government from further collecting of tolls from users of the Lekki-Ikoyi Suspension Bridge.

Justice Saliu Saidu, in a judgment on Thursday declared that since the bridge was built by public funds, imposition of tolls on motorists using it was illegal.

The court held that the power of control of all navigable waterways in Nigeria, resides with the federal government.

The court held that since it was public funds that was used for building the bridge there was no basis for the public-private partnership arrangement which was adduced as the justification for toll collection on the bridge.

The suit was instituted by a civil rights lawyer, Mr. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, against the Attorney-General of the Federation, the National Inland Waterways Authority, the Lagos State Government and the state Attorney-General.

Adegboruwa had urged the court to determine whether the imposition of tolls on the users of the bridge and residents of Lekki Scheme 1, Ikoyi, Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki and Epe communities, did not amount to a violation of their rights.

Nissan recalls 1 million vehicles due to airbag flaw

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Nissan Motor is recalling more than 1 million vehicles in the United States and Canada to fix a software problem that could prevent the front passenger airbag from deploying in an accident.

Nissan said it is not aware of any deaths caused by the problem, but can not give details about resulting injuries.

The problem is with the sensors in the front passenger seats that are supposed to tell if an adult or a child is sitting on the seat. Because the risk of injury or death to child is greater from an airbag than from an accident itself, if the system senses there is not enough weight in the front passenger seats, that airbag will not deploy.

The problem with the Nissans is that the sensors are shutting off the airbag even if an adult is in the seat.

The cars being recalled are most of the best-selling Nissan and luxury Infiniti models from the last two years. They include the 2013-2014 Altima, Leaf, Pathfinder and Sentra, the model year 2013 NV200 cargo van that’s also known as the Nissan taxi, the 2013 Infiniti JX35, and the 2014 Infiniti Q50 and QX60 cars.

The recall comes as the industry and safety regulators at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are focused on a recall of 1.6 million vehicles worldwide by General Motors. A problem with the ignition system can cause the car to shut off while driving, disabling not only the airbags but also the power steering and brakes.

At least 12 deaths have been caused by GM’s ignition defect. GM has come under harsh criticism, and CEO Mary Barra has made numerous apologies, due to revelations that its engineers were aware of the problem as early as 2004 but did not order a recall until February of this year.

The GM ignition switch is not the only large auto industry recall getting attention in recent months. Honda has recalled 900,000 Odyssey minivans due to fire risk, and GM announced another round of recalls covering 1.5 million U.S. cars. Toyota Motor agreed to pay a $1.2 billion fine to settle a criminal probe into its conduct surrounding a 2010 recall for unintended acceleration.

Russia to create national payment system: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country should create its own national payment settlement system to reduce its reliance on West amid heightened tensions over Crimea.

Putin told lawmakers in televised remarks on Thursday that such systems worked in countries like Japan and China.

"Initially, they started out solely as national systems limited to their own markets, their own territory, their own population, but they are becoming more popular right now," the Russian President said, adding, "Why should we not do it? We should definitely do it and we will do it."

Putin’s remarks came after two American financial companies Visa and MasterCard stopped providing services for payment transactions for clients at Bank Rossiya, following Washington’s sanctions imposed in response to Crimea rejoining Russia.

Crimea declared independence from Ukraine on March 17 and formally applied to become part of Russia following a referendum a day earlier, in which 96.8 percent of Crimean residents voted in favor of the secession. The voter turnout in the referendum stood at 83.1 percent.

The move sparked angry reactions from the United States and the European Union, both imposing punitive measures against a number of Russian officials and authorities in Crimea.

Ukrainian lawmakers have announced that they will never recognize the reunification of Crimea with Russia, vowing to fight for the liberation of the region as long as it takes.

New FRSC Plate Number Illegal, Says Court

The new plate number embarked upon by the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC has been ruled as illegal by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos Wednesday.

The judgment delivered by Justice James Tsoho ruled that it was unconstitutional for the FRSC to impose new number plates on motorists across the country.

A lawyer, Emmanuel Ofoegbu, had filed a suit challenging the powers of FRSC to issue the new number plates, impound vehicles and arrest motorists who failed to acquire the new numbers by the October 1 deadline. The

The plaintiff maintained that such action was a gross violation of the provisions of 36 (12) of the constitution  which guarantees the rights of individuals.

Tsho delivering his judgement held that it was unlawful for the respondent to impose the new number plates on motorists, where there was no existing law permitting same.

According to Justice Tsho: “The issue of redesigning new number plates by the respondent is not covered under the provisions of any law in Nigeria.

“The respondent cannot force Nigerians to acquire new number plates by impounding cars, without the backing of any legislation to that effect.

“I hold that the act of the respondent amounts to an arbitrary use of power, and is therefore illegal and unconstitutional.

“Judgment is, therefore, entered in favour of the plaintiff, and all the reliefs sought are hereby granted, I so hold.”

The plaintiff had filed the suit on September 30, 2013 through a Human Rights Activists, Mr Ogedi Ogu where he averred that there was no law in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which prohibits the use of the old plate numbers, or declares its use as an offence.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote is one of the richest men in the world.  He is currently worth $20.8 billion dollars and is the richest man in all of Africa.  Here are a few facts about Dangote that you may find intriguing:

1)   Dangote lives in Nigeria and is the owner of the Dangote Group, with interests in commodities operations in several countries, including Benin, Cameroon, Togo, and South Africa.

2)      He was born in a wealthy family, but was also pushed to be an entrepreneur at an early age.  “I can remember when I was in primary school, I would go and buy cartons of sweets [sugar boxes] and I would start selling them just to make money. I was so interested in business, even at that time.”

3)     He started his first major company at the age of 21 after receiving a loan from his uncle.

4)     The Dangote Group now dominates the sugar market and refinery business and is the main supplier of sugar to soft drink companies in Africa.  They also have significant investments in salt factors, flour mills, real estate, banking, etc.   He employs over 11,000 people.

5)     He is deeply committed to investing in his home country of Nigeria. “Let me tell you this and I want to really emphasize it…nothing is going to help Nigeria like Nigerians bringing back their money. If you give me $5 billion today, I will invest everything here in Nigeria. Let us put our heads together and work.”

6)     Dangote’s personal wealth rose by an astonishing $9.2 billion during the year 2013.   This now makes him the 30th richest person on earth.  He has roughly 7.5 times more wealth than Oprah Winfrey

Financial Juneteenth lessons from this article:

1) Having an entrepreneurial spirit is the key to building your wealth.  Although Dangote had more advantages growing up than most Africans, it was his entrepreneurial spirit that allowed him to turn a small fortune into one of the largest fortunes in the world.  Had he simply settled for working for his parents, he wouldn’t be worth 1/100th of what he is worth right now.

2) There is value to keeping your money at home.  Dangote’s love for his home country is Nigeria makes him an even greater asset to the nation than his wealth.  Rather than seeking out every investment opportunity available, he professes to having a commitment to building wealth and power for all of Nigeria.  This can be compared to some celebrities or business owners like Jay-Z or Michael Jordan, who are accused of getting rich by taking money from the hands of black people without creating many jobs for them.

3) Africa is a hot spot for 21st century investment.  China understands how resource rich the continent of Africa is and how this is going to play a crucial role in the development of the global economic landscape over the next 100 years.  African investments are less expensive than most and have tremendous upside.  This is the location of the next investment gold rush, and Dangote knows it.

German Porn Actress Fired For Having Sex With Black Man

Well-known porn actress Ina Groll, a.k.a. Kitty Blair (pictured), who was the familiar face of a far-right German political party, was fired for engaging in sexual relations with a Black man in her latest adult film. The blond actress was reportedly not only berated by the National Democratic Party (NDP) of Germany via Facebook for “disgracing” her race but the organization has also severed ties with her, according to Capitalism Is Freedom.

Kitty Blair appeared in the film “Kitty Discovers Sperm,” and in the movie, she has sex with a Black actor. Before Groll’s most-recent film, it did not seem to matter to the NDP that she was a porn star. The neo-Nazi party that was founded in 1964, which identifies itself as Germany’s “only significant patriotic force,” hired the actress to be the face of their high-profile campaign, where she encouraged men to join the organization by standing outside of polling places scantily clad.

During her association with the NDP, Kitty Blair helped to host all promotional events and appeared on posters as she hobnobbed with high-ranking party officials across Germany.

Once the news broke that Groll had engaged in sex with a Black man, a Facebook page was created to remove her from the party. One member wrote:

"Those who sell their body for money and disgrace their race have no place in our party."

Party members reportedly called for a meeting to discuss Groll’s association with the NDP and it was decided that she be given the axe.

Obama Meets the Pope

Barack Obama, Pope Francis

President Barack Obama met with Pope Francis in Vatican City today, an opportunity for both world leaders to discuss their shared commitment to combatting economic inequality. "I'm a great admirer," Obama told Francis

President Barack Obama met with Pope Francis on Thursday at the Vatican, in his second Papal visit and first with the new Pontiff.

“Wonderful meeting you,” Obama told the Pope upon being greeted outside the Papal Library, following a ceremonial procession led by the Vatican’s Swiss Guards.

“It is a great honor. I’m a great admirer,” Obama said. “Thank you so much for receiving me.”

The White House said before the visit that the meeting would be an opportunity for the two world leaders to discuss their shared commitment to combatting economic inequality, an issue Pope Francis has prioritized during his first year in office. Democrats have increasingly used the Pope’s emphasis on inequality as a political cudgel against Republicans ahead of the midterm elections.

But the gathering is also seen as an opportunity for the president to smooth ties with the Vatican and the large Hispanic Catholic population in America whose support for Obama has waned since helping vote him into office. The Vatican has been critical of a measure in Obama’s health care reform law that mandates contraception coverage, and officials said before the meeting that Pope Francis would likely raise those concerns.

Pope Francis, who was TIME’s Person of the Year in 2013, is widely popular globally and in America, where 8 in 10 Catholics viewed him favorably in a recent Pew Research Center poll.

“He can cause people around to the world to stop and perhaps rethink old attitudes and begin treating one another with more decency and compassion,” Obama said in an interview with the Italian daily Corriere della Sera before the meeting.

The White House said Obama presented Pope Francis with “a custom-made seed chest featuring a variety of fruit and vegetable seeds used in the White House Garden,” noting that the Pontiff said earlier this month that he would open the gardens of the papal summer residence to the public.

“I bring greetings from my family,” Obama told the Pope upon meeting him. “The last time I came here to meet your predecessor I was able to bring my wife and children.”

Obama, on a week-long tour in Europe that has primarily focused on regional security amid recent tension with Russia, is the ninth president to make an official visit to the Vatican.

Nigeria to lose top African oil exporter spot

London – Oil theft looks set to push Nigeria off its spot as top African crude oil exporter in May and exports could fall to their lowest since records began in 2009, data indicated on Wednesday.

Nigerian exports in May are set to be at around 1.59 million barrels per day (bpd) excluding the Forcados and Ebok grades of crude oil, which had still not emerged.

Exports are far below the highs above 2.2 million bpd reached in 2011 and the May figure is set to fall beneath the exports of Angola, which is usually the continent’s second largest exporter.

Angolan exports in May were set to be 1.67 million bpd, a provisional shipping list indicated.

Production of the Forcados grade has been hit by under water pipeline leakage due to oil theft which led operator Shell to declare a force majeure on the grade this week.

The problems affecting Forcados are the latest in a string of theft-related outages at major Nigerian grades, with Bonny Light production severely affected for much of last year.

Planned exports in April were initially seen at 1.73 million bpd, but were revised up to 1.86 million bpd after additional Bonny Light cargoes were added.

Traders said that it was likely that there would be no exports of Forcados for May, although should the pipeline be fixed soon there could yet be a small volume of this grade, which could push shipments above Angolan levels. -

PHOTOS: See What Has Happened To Madam Dora Akunyili

After months of staying in hospital and remaining in doors at home, former Minister of Information, Madam Dora Akunyili finally summoned enough courage to show up in public. She has been sick for sometime now and I heard several doctors have not been able to find out what exactly is eating her up.

She appeared at the venue of the ongoing National Conference in Abuja on Monday and many top politicians who saw Madam Akunyili just could not believe their eyes...

This is how chubby and beautiful the outspoken woman was when she was still in government. Really sad!

Police believe she entered the store this morning with a Polish friend.
While her friend was at the bakery counter, the victim, who is said to be of Asian appearance, carried out the shocking attack, leaving her lying in a pool of blood.
She is said to be around 30 years old, and was dressed in traditional clothing.

One eye-witness said: 'One of the shop's first aiders was trying to give CPR.
'One of the young men who works there actually saw the woman stabbing herself in the throat. He's in terrible shock.
